A configurable commerce-to-production workflow
An end-to-end digital product joining customer configuration, secure upload handling, checkout, payment, and production handoff around one traceable lifecycle, built as an Anav Enterprise venture.
This entry does not name a real client. It is labelled “Internal venture” and should be read accordingly.
Business context
A specialist product business needed to handle public catalogue products, private customer uploads, custom requirements, multiple payment options, and production handoff without adopting a heavy enterprise stack.
Problem
Packaged commerce and production-management products did not support the combination of public catalogue browsing, private custom uploads, and production-state tracking the business needed.
Constraints
- Needed to launch without a large enterprise software budget
- Required secure handling of customer-uploaded assets through to production
Existing systems
- Payment providers
- Cloud storage
- Production scheduling tools
What Anav did
- Designed a configurable product and private-upload customer journey
- Built a multi-provider payment workflow with retry and failure handling
- Implemented order and production-state tracking with role-based operations views
- Established secure asset handling and lineage from upload through production
Solution view
A single application spans the customer-facing configuration and checkout experience and the internal production-operations view, connected by one order and asset lifecycle model.
Human & governance controls
- Role-based access separates customer-facing, operations, and production functions
- Every asset carries a lineage record from upload to final production use
Delivery stages
- Customer journey and configuration design
- Payment and checkout build
- Order and production-state workflow build
- Launch and iterative improvement as an operating venture
Outcomes
Operational venture in active use
Evidence source: Internal venture experience within Anav Enterprise
Technologies used
- Modern web application framework
- Multi-provider payment integration
- Cloud object storage
What remains to be proven
- Scaling patterns beyond current venture volume have not yet been tested
Bring us the operating problem.
Not a brief, not a platform shortlist — the decision that arrives late, the workflow held together by people, the AI question without a clear answer. That is enough to start.
